Part of the great appeal is the natural beauty of the river, the short but inspiring ride on the Forks of the Credit road and the small towns along the way. Seeing friendly faces each week during the riding season, especially when you can't get out for a long trip across the province is a great way to stay in touch. Watch out for a close encounter with some Ontario wildlife at the end of this clip, heading east on Forks of the Credit road from Belfountain.

Would totally recommend this scenic drive near Caledon. Forks of the credit road winds through the hills so you can see the different layers of beautifully colored trees and leaves. There are also a couple of spots to stop and see the river up close. At around mid October to now the leaves are still on the trees. Makes perfect motorcycle ride.

I have lived about 40 minutes from The Forks of the Credit for about 15 years now and only just visited it last summer. What a waste of 15 years!!! Please do yourself a favour and take a drive. You will feel like you are so far from home!! It's beautiful and the drive took me back to when I drive up the mountains in my dad's hometown in Italy. There are also a few cute towns along the way. My husband and I stumbled upon a town called Belfountain that had an ice cream shop and an antique/general store. Loved it!
